The expiry date of each gift voucher is clearly marked and is generally valid for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
As required by local laws of the United States of America, expiry dates do not apply for gift vouchers purchased for experiences located in California, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington.
What happens if my voucher expires?
Unfortunately once a voucher has expired there are no refund or exchanges available (in whole or in part).
Can I extend the validity of my gift voucher?
For a flat fee of $30 AUD the expiry date of the voucher may be extended by a maximum of 3 months. Any request for an extension must be received by Mr Aristotle prior to the original expirty date.
What happens if I lose my gift voucher?
If a gift voucher is lost, the purchaser may apply for a replacement voucher provided that the following conditions are met:
What happens if my experience is cancelled?
Due to unforeseen circumstances such as safety concerns, poor weather etc. the Experience Provider may deem it necessary to postpone or cancel. In such circumstances every effort will be made by the Experience Provider to notify the gift voucher recipient as soon as possible in order to facilitate alternative arrangements.

I am concerned about my safety during the experience/do I need to take out any insurances for the experience I am given?
Every effort is made by Mr Aristotle to source only the finest Experience Providers with proven safety records.
It is the responsibility of the Experience Provider to have in place the necessary safety requirements and liability insurances associated with their experience.
Any restrictions and special conditions required for the experience are outlined on the Mr Aristotle website at time of purchase.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser of the voucher to read and agree to all conditions and restrictions before proceeding with the purchase of the voucher.
It is also the responsibility of the gift voucher recipient to read and agree to the terms and conditions when redeeming the voucher.
What currency will the experiences be shown in?
Prices will be displayed on the Mr Aristotle website in the local currency to the experience location or the currency as chosen by the Experience Provider. A currency converter is is available within the description page of every experience to allow you to convert to your currency of choice.
Wherever possible Mr Aristotle will make every effort to detail and relevant taxes or charges prior to purchase.
Is my Gift Voucher transferrable to someone else?
Every Gift Voucher is fully transferrable by the purchaser providing the voucher has not yet been redeemed and is within the expiry period.
What contact details/personal details do I have to give and what are they used for?
Contact details required include name and email address which are used to contact the purchaser if any purchasing problems occur. Financial information will be requested to complete the purchase through our check out system – Paypal.
Paypal is a leading secure payment gateway.
Mr Aristotle does not retain any credit card details or financial information and complies with all privacy law requirements.
Are there any restrictions for these experiences?
Any restriction that applies to the experience (as provided by the Experience Provider) is outlined on the Mr Aristotle website. The purchaser cannot proceed to the checkout without having accepted all relevant terms and conditions.
At the point of gift voucher redemption, the details of the Experience Provider for redeeming the voucher will not be released to the Gift Voucher Recipient without the recipient having accepted the terms and conditions.
On occasion and where specifically noted within the experience description you may be required to provide and/or be responsible for the proviion of your own personal and property insurance.
